The mint of the new collection will be with points you acquire by burning the NFTs from the following two collections: Generous Robots and Space Robots. After many discussions, we have agreed as a community on the following point system:
NFT | Points |
---|---|
Generous Robot | 3 |
Transformed Generous Robot | 6 |
Common Space Robot | 4 |
Rare Space Robot | 6 |
Epic Space Robot | 14 |
Legendary Space Robot | 36 |
Super Legendary Space Robot | 70 |
The factors considered when determining the points of each NFT were the $GEAR emissions, upgrade price, and FP.
Based on the points you get from burning any of the different NFTs, the current supply of both collections, and the desired supply for the upcoming collection, we calculated that a reasonable number of points needed to acquire an NFT from the new collection is 17.
With these numbers in mind, we have estimated that the supply of the new collection will be 5000.
As you can probably already tell, you will have a residual number of points left after burning and minting the new NFTs. This means that there are two alternatives for what you can do:
Both are very interesting options, here is why: The former option encourages people from outside the DAO to buy NFTs from any of the two collections (GR/SR) and join our community (hence increasing the FP). The latter option allows people from within our community to win another NFT. That is why we have decided not to have a public mint, since buying GR/SR will be the only reason to get a new NFT.
Considering the supply for the new collection (5000), there will be a certain amount of NFTs left. Using your leftover points, you will be able to participate in the raffles for these NFTs as well as in raffles from NFT projects on both the Solana and Ethereum blockchain.
The way it will work is the following:
A raffle with no fixed price per ticket typically operates as a donation-based raffle. Participants can choose to donate any amount they wish for each raffle ticket, and the number of tickets they receive is determined by the amount of their donation. For example, if someone donates 10 points, they may receive two raffle tickets, while someone who donates 20 points may receive four tickets. The winner of the raffle is then selected at random from all of the tickets that have been purchased.
